In 1998, the State Employees Combined Campaign initiated the Department Executives Program which enabled the appointment of State employees as “statewide management liaisons” for their respective agency or university campaigns.
This program is a vital link in the administration and coordination of the statewide campaign. The success that North Carolina’s campaign has enjoyed since its inception in 1986 is directly related to strong volunteer support. With the addition of Department Executives, the SECC has consistently raised more than $4 million annually for hundreds of charitable organizations in the state and nation.
Department Executives are leaders! They are campaign supporters. Most importantly, they are committed to public service and charitable giving.
